Strong and steady.  The African Cape Buffalo is a pillar of sub-Saharan ecology and is a member of the Big Five most dangerous animals due to its immense size and strength.  Humans aren't the only species ill-advised to tangle with these bovine behemoths - they can readily defend themselves against other apex predators, including lions.  Brought to life on large-format canvas, your office walls will exude calm and confidence by this majestic stalwart of the savanna.

This herd permanently resides in Tanzania's Ngorongoro Crater, which sits between Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Olduvai Gorge, where early evidence of human evolution was discovered.  Ngorongoro is the world's largest inactive volcanic crater and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  The volcano was active about two million years ago and culminated in an explosive eruption which collapsed the caldera and spewed a thick layer of ash across the surrounding area, creating the grassy savanas now known as Serengeti.  The crater itself is a semi-contained ecosystem with permanent herds of buffalo, lions, and black rhinoceros.
