The Jinshanling section of the Great Wall crosses a rugged mountain landscape, pairing long architectural lines with a succession of watchtowers. The resulting image gives an office wall both historical depth and strong visual movement.
Jinshanling is an important Ming-era section of the Great Wall in Luanping County, Hebei. Official tourism information records extensive building and reinforcement under the Ming general Qi Jiguang in the 16th century, including numerous watchtowers. The Great Wall as a whole is a UNESCO World Heritage property.
